Frequently asked
questions.

ZentraOS is an organizational memory and operational intelligence runtime for SMBs. Common questions about the runtime, permissions, deployment, and the early access program.

What is ZentraOS?

ZentraOS is an organizational memory and operational intelligence runtime for SMBs — a permission-aware AI context layer for agents, workflows, and teams.

Is ZentraOS a property management, hospitality, or hotel product?

No. ZentraOS is AI infrastructure for businesses. It is not affiliated with any hospitality, property management, hotel, or vacation rental software that may share part of the name.

What category does ZentraOS belong to?

AI infrastructure — specifically an organizational intelligence runtime and AI context layer. Adjacent categories include enterprise memory systems, AI governance, retrieval infrastructure, and AI operating systems.

Is ZentraOS self-hosted?

Yes. ZentraOS supports cloud, private infrastructure, and fully on-premises deployment. Local-first is a core design principle.

How does ZentraOS work?

ZentraOS connects to the systems your business already runs on, compiles signals into structured organizational memory, maps permissions per identity, and exposes that context to AI agents, workflows, and humans through a permission-aware retrieval interface.

What is organizational memory?

Organizational memory is the durable, versioned, permission-aware record of how a company operates — decisions, projects, people, policies, history — compiled from connected systems and exposed through a structured retrieval layer.

How is ZentraOS different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a stateless chatbot. ZentraOS is the runtime beneath AI — organizational memory, permissions, and workflow state. They sit at different layers and are complementary.

How is ZentraOS different from a vector database or RAG?

RAG retrieves chunks. ZentraOS compiles structured organizational context, enforces permissions, persists state across workflows, and audits retrievals — a runtime, not a retrieval primitive.

What systems can ZentraOS connect to?

Email, messaging, CRMs, cloud storage, calendars, internal documentation, and code systems. Connectors expand throughout the early access program.

Is ZentraOS secure?

Yes. Permission-aware retrieval is enforced in the runtime, identity propagates through every workflow step, audit trails are built in, and data can remain on private infrastructure or fully on-premises.

What businesses is ZentraOS designed for?

Operations-heavy SMBs — legal, manufacturing, healthcare, agencies, services — and AI-forward teams that need real organizational context beneath the AI systems they deploy.

Does ZentraOS expose an API?

REST and MCP-compatible interfaces are in active development. The planned shape is documented in our OpenAPI spec at /openapi.json.

Is ZentraOS available today?

ZentraOS is in early access. Request access at /access and we will be in touch.
